How DMU Status Works
DMU Status is the single source of truth for whether our services are up. This page explains how the data behind it is collected, what counts as an incident, and how uptime is calculated.
Monitoring
Every monitored service is probed continuously from outside our network. A monitor reports one of: Operational, Degraded, Partial Outage, or Down, based on probe response times and HTTP status codes over a rolling window.
Incidents
When a monitor crosses a threshold, our team opens an incident and posts status updates as the situation evolves. Each incident page carries the timeline, the affected services, and a post-incident summary once the situation resolves.
Scheduled maintenance
Planned changes that might affect availability are announced as scheduled maintenance windows at least 24 hours in advance. Time inside a maintenance window doesn't count against uptime.
Uptime calculation
Uptime is the percentage of probes inside the rolling window that returned an Operational status, excluding probes during scheduled maintenance.
